An award-winning poet, Andrew Schelling is an amateur naturalist, mountaineer, and translator of India's classical poetry who lives in Boulder, Colorado, along the front range of the Southern Rocky Mountains. He will read a selection of erotic poems from Ancient India. JADE (Junior Associates Discover the East) is an alliance of individuals in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who share an interest in Asian art and culture. This event is FREE for JADE members. She studied yoga with Michelle Andrie for 7 years and most recently has been a student of Angela Farmer while exploring the poetics of Body Text.

Cliff Roberts, founder and President of the FW Haiku Society, is the current Southwest Region Coordinator for the Haiku Society of America. The Fort Worth Haiku Society, chartered by the Poetry Society of Texas, has been in existence since June 2002. The FW Haiku Society is a member of the Haiku Society of America and the National Federation of State Poetry Societies, and to our knowledge is currently the ONLY formed haiku society in the State of Texas.

June's Contemplative Open Mike and Reader Series will be hosted by Amy Martin, a Dallas-based journalist and writer for 25 years, who has worked for Dallas Times Herald, Dallas Morning News, Dallas Observer and D magazine. She was contributing editor and columnist for the national urban-eco magazine Garbage. She now operates Moonlady Media publishing www.moonlady.com and has two titles – Spirit Herbs: Simple Recipes for Hibachi Herbal Magic & Sacred Space and the upcoming Poison Oak, Poison Ivy: The Ultimate Guide. Her local alternative listserv, Moonlady News, has 2700+ members. She is executive director of Earth Rhythms www.earthrhythms.org and produces the popular Winter SolstiCelebration and Moonlady Fests.
